Since the last Plan was published, the name of this all important document has changed to a ‘Community Led Plan' - and it is very much as the name implies - a document by the Parish community, and for the benefit of the Parish. Click here to view the old plan.
Without your input, we will not have a voice in the decision making process with East Herts District Council or Hertfordshire County Council, or indeed, with any other organisation that might wish to affect change within the Parish.
It is vital therefore, that you contribute towards the production of this document.
We have already distributed two hundred ‘pilot' questionnaires through random letterboxes in Standon High Street, as well as in South Road, Buntingford Road, High Street and Cambridge Road in Puckeridge, and asked for these to be completed and returned by 11th December.
Responses to these few Questionnaires will help shape the final document - which should be available in its Draft format by late January - and is planned for distribution to every home in the Parish as a centre-page ‘pull-out' supplement in the March edition of PS News. Additional hard copies will be made available in various locations around the villages, and may also be completed online at Parish websites.
An informal Public Meeting is scheduled for 2nd February 2010 at 7pm in the Community Centre - to ensure your thoughts and aspirations shape the future of our Parish, it will be necessary for you to attend - and to give us your information.
Without your help, we will be at the mercy of others in determining the future of our Parish.
